European National Young Academies (ENYA) Meeting 2025
Young Academies from across Europe will gather in Bern, Switzerland, on 5–6 June 2025 for this year’s ENYA Meeting. Organised and hosted by the Swiss Young Academy, the event will build on discussions from previous years, focusing on best practices and shared areas of interest. The ENYA Meeting will take place at the Casino Bern.

The 2025 meeting will centre on the theme of Science Diplomacy, examining its importance in international collaboration, evidence-informed policymaking, and tackling global challenges. Special attention will be given to the role of early-career researchers in Science Diplomacy and to how they can help shape and advance this emerging field.
A public programme on 5 June will begin at 15:30 with a thematic introduction by the Geneva Science-Policy Interface (GSPI). A panel discussion will explore the role of early-career researchers in this domain, with contributions from representatives of the International Science Council (ISC), the Young Academies Science Advice Structure (YASAS), CERN, and the European Science Diplomacy Alliance (EUSDA).
If you’re interested in attending the panel discussion and joining us for the apéro afterwards, contact us on enya@swissyoungacademy.ch.
